Genesisīut way before that, Roxy was drafted in IO’s Project: Genesis. With the help of Lynch, she escaped along with her four teammates. Back there, she had a crush on Grunge, and kept sending him obvious signals. However, the boy was obsessed by how attractive Fairchild had become. The shock was terrible when she learned that Alex Fairchild was her real father and Fairchild was indeed her half sister (which explained the psionic link between the two). To save face, they told everybody around the girl was from Aaron’s first marriage. So much did they lie that they couldn’t tell Roxy, estimating the truth would hurt her more than the lie.
